It’s assumed people don’t “get on” with their mother in laws. So when I spoke about you to friends and family they would say how lucky I was to have you. I was . Always there through good and bad times, the support with the endless hospital appointments with Ruby. The love you showed us all, you never complained not even when you were so ill and so frail. You told me in the Hospice you loved your Mother in Law, I told you I love mine. You said I was your best friend I replied you are mine. I will look after your son, your granddaughters and Brian, that I promise. I’m sorry I couldn’t say goodbye to you today I never had it in me. I want to remember the beautiful, elegant, funny, loving mother in law you were. Devastated beyond belief. Will love your always. X
