Thoughts

Nanny, You were the best nan I could've wished for. Until now I've never understood how you could miss someone so much. You gave me the best childhood which I will always look back on and cherish. Not only were you my nan, but you were like a second mom to me. I will always look back fondly on the times we spent together. Every Wednesday you would pick me up from school and bring loads of treats. In the summer we would go around your whole garden and water all the plants, it was my favourite thing to do. I was such a nannies girl. We would go to pick vegetables from yours and Grandads garden and I'd help you cook the roast dinner. You would always take us to Tamworth castle, you'd help us on the climbing frames and buy us an ice cream, then to the water park we would go, or you'd take us shopping there. We were so lucky to have all of these memories with you, the Christmases, birthdays, holidays. I will cherish every one of them, always. I just hope one day I'll be as good of a Nan as you've been to me. Until we meet again Nanny. I love you, always.

Auntie Ann Now, you were not my Auntie by blood, but I have known you for virtually my whole life, and always as Auntie Ann. I have so many memories of you. From the little things like when I walked home from school and I would always call in on my way past to see you. The times I’ve stayed at your houses, seeing Michael for the first time from the hospital while you looked after me when Mom was in the hospital giving birth to him. The amazing snowy views from the bedroom window in your new house. The time I went to work on the fair with Alison whilst spending the week with you. The way you loved your dogs and how you used to give them a treat when you got home from work before you did anything else. Going to the pub with you and Brian to meet all your friends. You were there for my wedding, and when both my babies were born, even they know you as Auntie Ann. There are so many more memories I could write down. I am so sorry that I cannot be there today for you But as I am sat at the desk that you spent so many years sat at, I have a candle burning for you and remembering all the good times we’ve shared over the past 36+ years. I love you so much and I will miss you always. Rest In Eternal Peace now, you are no longer in pain. All our Love. Kim, Joshua & Aimee XXXX
